LE DUC.—Tu l'emportes, je leur pardonne ainsi qu'à toi: dispose d'eux suivant les mérites que tu leur connais. Partons pour Milan, et que toutes nos querelles se terminent par la joie, les bals et les fêtes les plus solennelles.

VALENTIN.—Et, sur la route, j'oserai prendre la liberté de vous faire sourire par le récit de mes aventures. Mon prince, que pensez-vous de ce page?
